Practice of mindfulness is widely accepted and is a scientific tool to cultivate a specific mental skill. Benefits of mindfulness practice are well known. The objective of the centre is to provide a conducive environment to those who are willing to practice.
Mindfulness Practice Centre of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura was launched on 11th January 2018. Mindfulness Practice sessions will be conducted every Thursday from 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm and prior registration is required.
